A day out in Brighton with a 17 month old

Windy Brighton Day

Brighton has been on our bucket list since we moved to London. After buying a Stokke Tripp Trapp off eBay for the new baby, I cheerfully informed my husband that we would have to go pick it up from this seaside town.  His response, ‘… but I didn’t want to go in November’.

We were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of walking streets and lots of intriguing shops to pop into which were especially handy to get out of the windy day. We enjoyed a great lunch at The Coach House and picked up a delicious hot chocolate from the quirky coffee shop Marwood. Make sure you take some time to enjoy the eclectic atmosphere inside this one-off beauty.

Going back to Brighton is once again on our priority list, and we highly recommend it for any couples looking to get out of London and do some seasonal gift shopping, find some interior decor inspiration and enjoy some good food. While we didn’t have time on this trip, it looked like Daniel could have had a lot of fun running around on the beach.
