Just about ready to go out using Stokke’s MyCarrier

Using a sling or carrier is a great way to travel with your baby. Not only is there the intimacy of having your baby snuggled up against you; you also have two free hands and don’t have to avoid stairs.

We went for the Stokke MyCarrier. We liked that it grew with the baby, could be used from birth, and Daniel could be worn on our backs when he’s older. We also liked the styling of it and the back bar helps with the sore back now that the little D-man is getting heavier. Additionally, but less importantly, I liked that they incorporated mountain climbing gear into the design (an old passion of mine).

I will say that Peter uses it a lot more than I do. The weight of Daniel plus a diaper bag is not ideal and I do find my back gets sore after a long day. (I also use it inside the house when I need to get things done and he wants to be held).
